In the era of Jim Crow laws and freedom rides, many people were killed for standing up for their rights. Most of these slayings remain unsolved and little is known about the victims other than their names.

The FBI is looking for public help in solving dozens of cold cases from the height of the civil rights era, including identifying the next-of-kin.
